Founder & CEO
Mia Nixon
Mia Nixon is the Founder and CEO of AI For Girls Enterprise Foundation and a Senior Digital Risk Consultant at Ernst & Young (EY), where she specializes in emerging technologies and artificial intelligence risk. Mia also serves as President of AI for Girls Enterprise board and oversees the volunteer team. She holds dual degrees in Accounting and Business Intelligence from Saint Joseph’s University, along with a minor in English.
Under her leadership as CEO, AI For Girls Enterprise Foundation has grown to nearly 500 members across 71+ countries.
Led by Mia, AI For Girls Enterprise empowers the next generation of women leaders through workshops, career panels, mentorship, professional development opportunities, and its annual scholarship program, expanding access to careers in business and technology worldwide.

Mia is also the author of the children’s book The Balance of Brushes and Bytes, the first release in the AI For Girls Enterprise book series. Through engaging storytelling, the book teaches children how to balance technology with their own critical thinking and creativity, reinforcing essential skills for the next generation.

Vice President
Kate Wasson
Kate Wasson serves as Vice President of AI For Girls Enterprise Foundation, where she brings a strong background in nonprofit leadership, advocacy, and policy strategy. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Villanova University, with a specialization in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.

Throughout her career, Kate has led nonprofit organizations, developed strategic initiatives, and built partnerships to advance advocacy and community-focused programs. She has championed policy initiatives, promoted organizational growth, and raised awareness around critical social issues.
Her approach blends strategic vision with a focus on measurable outcomes, empowering young women to take on leadership roles, pioneer new ideas, and confidently navigate their careers in tech and business.

Treasurer
Sarah Liu
Sarah Liu is the Treasurer of AI For Girls Enterprise Foundation and a Senior Digital Risk Consultant at Ernst & Young (EY), specializing in information technology, artificial intelligence for business, and digital risk management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Babson College, with concentrations in Computational & Mathematical Finance and Business Analytics.

At AI For Girls Enterprise, Sarah helps oversee financial strategy and operations, ensuring the organization’s resources support programs that empower young women with AI literacy, professional development, mentorship, and leadership opportunities.
Sarah is a passionate advocate for gender equity, committed to ensuring women not only have a seat at high-level leadership and AI governance discussions, but are empowered to lead and shape the conversation.

Board Of Marketing
Katie Lomonaco
Katie Lomonaco serves on the Marketing Board of AI For Girls Enterprise Foundation. She brings extensive experience in sales operations, business development, and organizational management across the telecommunications and financial industries, offering the community valuable practical knowledge and strategic insight.

Passionate about empowering young women in tech and business, Katie mentors members through resume reviews, mock interviews, and career guidance. She is dedicated to helping young women build confidence, develop professional skills, and explore new opportunities.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Drexel University and is committed to fostering the growth of the next generation of female leaders, innovators, and changemakers.

Secretary
Carlos Hernandez
Carlos Hernandez is the Secretary of AI For Girls Enterprise Foundation and a passionate advocate for gender equity, inclusive leadership, and opportunities for women to succeed. He has worked in labor organizations, government, and nonprofits in Nevada, supporting initiatives that advance workplace and economic equity and protect the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Government, Carlos is deeply committed to giving back through volunteer work and community engagement.
At AI For Girls Enterprise, he provides administrative support to the CEO, board, and team, helping with event planning, logistics, and operations. Carlos is proud to support a mission that promotes gender parity and empowers the next generation of women leaders, innovators, and CEOs.
