Our book

The Balance of Brushes and Bytes

In the city of Optic Orbit, best friends Zoe and Emily live in a world where AI shapes nearly everything, including art. When a creative experiment goes sideways, their curiosity sends them on an adventure that changes how they think about imagination.

What readers are saying

“…an incredible and engaging story that reminds us that while technology can enhance and support our ideas, it can never replace the imagination, heart, and creativity that make them truly meaningful. … Perfect read for kids and adults alike!”
C.Amazon review
“This is a thoughtful and very timely children’s book. … Technology is shown as a helpful tool, not the enemy. … It is a great choice for families raising children in a tech-filled world and a lovely conversation starter about creativity and imagination.”

How we learn AI

Brushes first, bytes second.

AI can be a great helper. But your imagination, your questions and your own hard work come first. Here's how girls in Optic Orbit use it.

ImagineStart with your own idea.

Draw it, write it or build it yourself first. Your ideas are the most important part.

AskAsk AI to help, not to do it all.

Use AI like a tool in your art box. It can give you ideas, but you make the choices.

Computers make mistakes too. If something seems wrong, ask a grown-up or one of your big sisters.
